Reptiles and amphibians are frequently overshadowed by more charismatic fauna.
However, this does not make them any less important.
They face habitat destruction and the effects of a changing climate. By promoting awareness and funding conservation and education efforts, I hope to increase their popularity and the protections they receive.
About Me
My name is Emma Hsiao. I’m a aspiring wildlife biologist and graphic designer.
Tale of Scales began as an assignment for Graphic Design class in 2019. From there, I took it to Kickstarter, where it was met with incredible support.
Since then, I’ve been using these cards to spread awareness and fundraise for herpetological organizations such as the Advocates for Snake Preservation and AXOLOTITLÁN.
